Helpful Tips

  • The T.V has a roaming antenna located at the side panel next to T.V. When you are out of range simply adjust the antenna.
  •
  • The mop and bucket is stored in the cupboard under the stairs.
  •
  • The outside doorway from the lounge room has glass panels either side, leave a blind down a fraction as the glass is so clean it looks like an open doorway, I walked into it twice until I pulled blind down a fraction.
  •
  • Don’t pack to many clothes, its such a layback atmosphere a pair of track pants and a top will surface for most of the trip.
  •
  • Stock up well on food and drinks as you will be without the ability to go to the shop once on board the houseboat.
  •
  • When reversing the boat if it seems stuck on a sandbank, turn the wheel in the opposite direction either hard left of hard right and try again.
  •
  • If the automatic ramp becomes stuck or comes of the rails, simply lift the end up and manoeuvre it back on the rails.
  •
  • You may want to take some music, houseboat has a terrific surround system, dvd’s or board games, also some fishing rods and proper bait. The Murray cod are fussy eaters, maybe some prawns, worms or dedicated bait and lures.
  •
  • The kitchen is well equipped with so many little extras you won’t need to buy things like glad wrap, foil, paper towels, rubbish bags etc..
  •
  • There is no need to take extra bedding as there is plenty of spare pillows, blankets and the boat itself is warm and cosy.
  •
  • There were plenty of towels also but you can never have enough when multiple people are hopping in and out of the spa several times a day. I would recommend taking a few beach towels just to be sure to always have a dry towel on hand.
  •
  • Nearly everything is supplied for your convenience, you will need food, drinks, clothes and good company, the rest has been taken care of.
